Basslime's founding fathers Pete & Chris have been raping ears and slewing club nights since 2007.

Gaining notoriety for their long genre spanning sets, Bits Missing have become regulars on the Bournemouth scene, having held residencies at The Consortium, We Are Your Friends and of course Basslime.

They play anything and everything. As long as someone's skankin out to it, they're happy. Dubstep & Grime, House, Electro, UK Funky, Bassline, Bmore, Hip Hop, all of it.

Phaeleh (pronounced "fella”)

The distinct sound of Phaeleh fuses the dark and heavy sounds of Dubstep and Drum and Bass with the melodies and soundscapes of Electronica, all sealed together with the subtle textures of acousmatic music.

A diverse range of influences results in an equally diverse musical output which can range from disturbing bass lines and heavy Dubstep/Jungle beats, perfect for the rave, to the more soulful, restrained tracks incorporating a variety of sound sources and vocal styles.

In 2008 he started Urban Scrumping Records and continues to gig regularly across the UK...

This month we are fortunate to bring you two mixes in this months podcast.

Brick Lane Is Dead bring House & Electro smashing together in a dirty great big sound infested box, wrapped especially for you! Promoters of the successful London based night under the same name, B.L.I.D are headlining the upcoming Basslime so look foward to a cracking set from these guys!

Mr White is a versatile machine behind the decks, playing in most breakbeat nights across Bournemouth, he was picked up straight away by Archangel Breaks. He has supported such names as far too loud, Freshold, Breakfastaz, Hoffman & Model 101, tom real, Hexadecimal,Hybrid ATB and ILS. He brings madness and energy to the dance floor with his twisted beats and sick basslines. Mr Whites set went down a storm at the last Basslime, so much so that have asked him back to smash up the Old Firestation for We Are Your Friends in Feb!

Broke DJs are an award winning Bournemouth and London based duo who specialise in smashing dance floors across the UK with their unique blend of home made beats and quick-fire mixes.

2008 has been a busy year for lads with their new monthly podcast, Bournemouth residencies at Bloc Control (Consortium), Beat Redemption (TOFS), Enter (Dusk Till Dawn) and Reconnection (iBar), as well as running their new night 'Bass Lime' and their new label 'Suck My Breaks'...Plus of course a few more surprises yet to come - watch this space!
